It is discovered that natives exist on an island where atomic tests have taken place. A scientific expedition on the island, led by an exploiter named Nelson, is conducted there. The scientists discover that two women a foot high live there. The scientists agree that this discovery should NOT be made public. But Nelson has other plans. He kidnaps the girls and exploits them to the public in Japan. Nelson thinks when the girls are singing that the two beauties are enjoying performing before the audience. But, actually, they are begging for their guardian, MOTHRA, to come and rescue them. A giant egg on the island hatches and a giant larva makes a bee-line towards Japan. The Self Defense Force quickly takes action to stop the incoming giant insect... but to no avail. The Japanese government insists that Nelson returns the girls back to the island. The exploiter flatly refuses. Is Japan doomed? Will the two fairies be rescued in time before Mothers decimated all of Japan?
